0.5 Stars for the Club 3 Stars for the Restaurant We booked dinner before a show, purchasing show tickets online and using opentable for the restaurant reservation. The front desk said our server would take care of show seating, tickets, etc, and we had nothing to do or worry about. We were seated and the waitress wouldn't help us with our tickets. She insisted that one of us go to the box office to pick up the tickets...interrupting the flow of our dinner/drink-ordering process. She was very unhelpful. Back at the table with the tickets, the waitress looked at them and said, oh, ok, I see you have your tickets. That was it? She must not have believed that we purchased them prior or something...it was just disjointed, bad service. She could have looked my name up on their system to be sure we had the tickets. Or more importantly, gone and done her job, and gotten them for us! It was absurd, especially considering the price you pay for the food and the shows. The food and cocktails were wonderful, service was unobtrusive, and we were able to have good conversation at the table - not too much noise. However, I found the service provided by the waitress to be completely substandard for the price. The club was a complete joke. $62 for 2 tickets to see a 75 minute show. With a 1-drink minimum. They didn't have the first bottle of champagne that we ordered (no problem), and it took the waitress 20 minutes to tell us that and to get us another drink menu. Instead of waiting at the table for us to look over the 5 bottles they actually had, she left, and came back about 10 minutes later! After ordering a second time, another 20 minutes went by. The show was almost over by the time we got our bottle (50 minutes into the show). We weren't given a towel to wipe the bottle, or even napkins. Horrible service. Then when the show was over, they kicked everyone out as fast as they could. Mind you, there was no other show after ours, so what's the rush? We still had 1/2 a bottle of champagne to drink, and they had turned the bright, harsh lighting on already. There was no discount on the bill for such lacking service. We saw many other tables that had no drinks on them, or had empty glasses. Seems everyone had a hard time getting service. I would never go back here to see a show. Too expensive for the length of time of the performance, and very very hard to get a drink. Also, incredibly cramped seating area. Terrible service. Go to the restaurant - it's fantastic!

I really enjoyed Tao. I had some friends in from out of town who had been here before and chose our dinner locale, so figured something new to check out. The ambiance was really impressive. Fabulous decorations. I was glad we opted for an earlier dinner, so we were able to be there before it became crazy busy. I can see some of the comments on pricing. I wasn't super hungry, so I opted for one of the rolls and a soup. Their hot and sour soup had shrimp and was amazing. Their spicy yellow tail roll with onion crisps was so fresh and great. So very good sushi! We wrapped up the dinner with their chocolate molten cake. Ahhhh. How can one go wrong there, right? One in our group got the create your own assortment of 3 ice creams/sorbets. The green tea ice cream was great and the espresso ice cream was amazing! I'd definitely go back, especially to check out the bar and grab a martini, as the martini menu looked intriguing, even with its stiff prices.
