by Madelyn Y. on I met some friends for a birthday at Triple Crown and there was a pretty eclectic crowd where the party that night was being promoted by the folks at Opulent Temple (House/Trance/Electronic music). The layout of the area is like a Z: you start from the bar at the entrance, zig your way to the dancefloor, and zag to the way back if you need to use the restrooms. It gets extremely hot on the dance floor but at least there's a fan in the far corner. I give this place two stars only because it wasn't my steez. I felt like I had started my night out at a place that seemed more typical of an afterparty venue.

We make the best of it and I can't deny that we always have fun but it is a bit pricey and not the best service. Security at the door treat you like it is an exclusive NYC celebrity hot spot but other than that the staff is ok. I'd go back with a group of friends as a club alternative. *No Cover Charge*
