by Rachael S on I have been going to this bar since I was 2, i got to do easter eggs hunts and horse back riding and even had a drink make jus for me and my sisters called donald duck. i still drink it to this day! great drink for pregnant women lol. im now 23 and still try to go once and a while. great bar great food
by Laverne Brisbane on okay so its not really a looker but ill give it to them for everything else we came here for benjamin & his friends combined birthday on saturday nite and we had 2 tables reserved. however some crap happened and we needed to be there asap to get those tables. so the bf, a few friends & i arrived @ busbys early... a little before 10pm. we pulled in back & paid $5 for valet which is pretty good then we walked to the front of busbys. the bouncer out front was the nicest ive ever ever ever dealt with in LA. like seriously why cant they all be like this unlike the db's i usually gota deal with. plus no cover..dunno if the later peeps had to pay we got in & had to climb the stairs because we werent allowed to wait around the bottom and so we waited for the rest of the gang upstairs. got in and saw a bunch of ppl already surrounding the bar with lots of tvs scattered around covring the olympics and got some beers while we sorted out our tables. we actually got the section right across from the stairs in front of the "mile high club" hehe cute name for the dancefloor. it ended up that we had 2 out of the 4 tables there and the other 2 tables were gona be used by LAPD so we were given a headsup to not do nething illegal HA HA hA neways the cops never showed up and we basically had the WHOLE section to ourselves besides a couple of random ppl who snuck in. each table got a bottle of vodka (meh) & some pineapple, cranberry & a bucket of ice. that for $180 but with some bs addition and tax tip it became $270+ each table the waitress was sorta PUSHY @ first insisting we HAVE to order JUST from her...ok we got that but some of us had already ordered from the bar so tough luck chick. throughout the nite i noticed her being a lil bitchy...a lil annoyed when we didnt tip rite away, annoyed one of our guys were leanin on the table "oh hunny dont lean OK its gona break" and not a O-HUNNY in a sweet way ...more of an annoyed fake fake fake way. and she kept pushing us to order more and more drinks when im sure we spent easily over a grand already ANYWAYS! the venue was nice. pool tables for the boys who stay cleaar of the dance floors, a small but do-able dance floor for us girls who wanted to shake our thaangs...a decent bathroom which i enjoyed @ first because there was hardly anyone there but later realized how gross it was to have boys & girls bathrooms so near each other the boys potty reeked of poop & ciggs which lingered into the aisle of the girls restroom & i liked how they DIDNT have a bathroom attendant tryna push for tip and sell me some hair spray the music varied but i cant say it was bad, the crowd was decent just some ppl need to invest in some deodorant SERIOUSLY, alch prices were a LITTLE steep but o well i cant really complain i didnt even spend a dime =X lastly as we guided our deliriously happy & severly drunk birthday boyy down the stairs and out the door the bouncer and his posse told us to have a safe drive home & hoped we had fun...what!?!?? unheard of kindness!!! + we left around 130-2am & we got our cars from valet ASAP!! yays & nays including a stupid fight so i rate u 3.8 =D
