It's like PF Chang's but with other Asian influences. I do not know which is worse. Most of the dishes seemed overpriced. I ordered the tofu with spinach dish ($14) and I felt like I was getting gypped. If you want good Asian food, please go elsewhere. If you care more about having a nice bar/atmosphere, then maybe you should check it out. Though I must say that their dj was playing good music.

South African, Northern European & Middle Eastern tapas? Count me in & call me happy. The bf & I couldn't decide on dinner on Tuesday night & all our old favorites were sounding *blah* so I suggested Medjool because their menu is so diverse. I'd only been here one time about five years ago, but really enjoyed the  fancy drinks, music & food & wanted to see if it was as good as i remembered. We ordered: - from South African region: sesame tempura shrimp with an avacado/grapefruit salad. This shrimp were big & juicy, the sauce was spicy & the buttery avocado went well in the salad or on top of the shrimp. - from Northern European region: coffee infused skirt steak & mini beef wellingtons with three sauces. The skirt steak was well seasoned & had a nice char. The greens were garlicky, but the potato cake it came with needed lots of improvement (kind of greasy & dense & not very well flavored.) I like mini anything & pastry shells, so the beef wellington rocked my socks; really full of mushroomy goodness. Each sauce was awesome & light. -Dessert: creme brulee & pistachio ice cream. The creme brulee was the richest I've ever tasted & had vanilla bean specks running through it. The pistachio ice cream was aromatic & was a huge portion (three scoops.) The olives, pita chips & yogurt dip they give you before your meal definitely whet our appetite for our small plates, which is more than enough for two people to share. I really enjoyed my dining experience here & it even my bf agreed that the food was really good (major brownie points to Medjool for that!) Service was wonderful-we had one man & one woman taking care of everything we needed. Ambiance is very romantic, but a tad too dim for my eyes. It is a huge space with very comfortable, spacious seating. Music was a mix, mostly latin american beats & matched the energetic, young vibe in the restaurant. After dinner, the bf & I took the elevator up to the sky terrace. It was way too cold to stick around, but we wanted to check out the view from five floors up- very beautiful, indeed. Definitely someplace we'd like to dine at when the weather gets warmer. All in all, we had a wonderful dining experience. Parking was easy , service was flawless, perfect date night place & it even got a thumbs up from my bf. The only downside is that prices are a little high. Dinner was $66 (not including tip.)

This place is AWFUL. Bad music, dirty "beds", seriously overpriced drinks and a really b-list crowd. I was unimpressed from the moment they started frisking me ('did the bouncer just goose me?") at coat check, making me empty my pockets and charging me $20 bucks for entering this nightmare. Once inside, you enter the first room which has the bar. It has this frosted green counter which I thought looked cool. We moved to the second room where the dance floor had the tackiest people bumping, grinding and just feeling each other up. If you're sex deprived and you want a pretty good shot at hiding the salami tonight, this is the place for you. Not sure about STD's but hey, you'd have a story to tell right? There was this one chick who was blitzed out of her mind and "trying" some sort of strip tease on any guy who'd care to entertain. I say trying because it was a fail. She was so drunk that she couldn't carry off the stilettos and since she wasn't in peak physical condition she ended up looking like a wobbling walrus on stilts. Which brings me to my next point - the beds. Nasty. The sheets clearly need to be dry cleaned or washed or something. I'm not sure if these guys are going through some recession based cost cutting but a word of advice - use the beds to leave your stuff on. They look like they've been trampled on and the above mentioned classy crowd like to romp about on those sheets. As far as the music goes - typical club fare. Standard hip hop crowd pleasing, sing along n dance tunes. Nothing that stands out. Nothing that pops. The biggest problem is that the DJ keeps changing tracks every 60 seconds so if you really like a track, forget about being able to enjoy the whole song. I'll end this with my BIGGEST problem about this place. Dishonest client service. The bar was an epic fail - $7.50 (plus 20% gratuity) for a teeny tiny bottle of Fiji water - wtf?!! $14.50 for a jack n ginger in a damn rock glass is just outrageous. Here comes the worst part - when I ordered my jack I wanted to pay by card since I didn't have any cash on me. The bartender said 2 drink minimum for card so I said fuck it, leave an open tab. I came back in a bit, got another bottle of water and closed my tab for a grand total of $20. I'm a good tipper and despite the crappy service I made it $25, signed got my card back thought good riddance, end of story. Wrong. I casually looked at my bank statement this morning and see a charge for $100 bucks from Duvet. Yes folks, that is correct. I spent under $35 dollars in total on drinks last night but Duvet charged me $100 to my debit card and I am furious. I can't even dispute the charge today because B of A banking customer service is off for Jul 4th. I can call Duvet in the evening and give them a piece of my mind but after seeing how obnoxious their customer service is, I wonder if it would serve any purpose at all?! Bottom line - I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO DUVET EVER. ZERO STARS TO THIS SUCKER.
