It gets really crowded and finding a table can be a challenge but the breeze coming off the Hudson is great and keeps it very cool. The drinks are a little pricey....37 for a pitcher of white sangria, 35 for bucket of 6 coronas. The sangria is good, but not very strong. They also had some lame cover band with a lead singer who wanted to be lady gaga. Overall, I would def come back. I didn't get to try the food but it smelled and looked great. Definitely worth checking out on a hot day.
by Reuben Swell on I've stayed in NYC for 7 days and went to several places. I was in Marquee, Tenjune and Pink Elephant. Marquee is the best (why it's better than Tenjune I'll explain in other review). Why I loved Marquee: 1) It's big 2) Reasonable prices for drinks 3) Lower area is properly designed so you don't have constant flow people who cruising from and to restroom distracting you from dancing 4) Good girls/guys ratio without extremes 5) People are pretty friendly 6) Security let me and my friend in without staying in the line :) 7) It has two levels - hiphop area on 2nd floor and house on 1st. House set was very good. I'll definitely come back here and suggest this place to my friends. I wish we had something like this in SF, Ruby Skye stinks.
