I went on a Thursday night and it was bizarre, but fun! We parked at a parking deck and our parking was really cheap. The only thing I did not like was having to wait outside (20 mins) when barely anyone was even inside. I guess this was done to make the place look packed. I was happy to get 3 glasses of champagne when I came in though! The bathrooms are amazing!! BEST CLUB BATHROOM in Atlanta hands down! It got really crowded later into the night. Also, that night there were like 6 different djs. Entertainment included the typical go go dancer , a chick with a huge afro busting a move and a girl playing with fire. The dance floor was packed, but then again I don't think there really was one. Oh and go to the bar towards the back of the place. The bartender there was very friendly and just a very nice girl. Overall, I had a fun time! If you're in Atlanta just go to say you've been there!

Holy moly does this place have an identity crisis. Music too loud (and really awful at that). Clientele too fussy. Beer choices to light. A buddy recommended we meet him there because they had been doing house nights on Thursdays and we arrived to find a crew of girls in two small puffed out party dresses that made them look like upside down mushrooms and remixes of Kayne playing so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. Bummer. What a waste of a space. Oh, and the best part is the velvet rope outside and the bouncer, who asked us if we were on the "guest list" for the bar that has no cover? He also claimed to like the book that I've been reading, but I have a feeling that he had no idea what it was...

I went to Mykonos Taverna last week for lunch with a few friends. We were all trying it for the first time and were very excited. The staff greeted us at the door and were quite nice if not slightly overly excited we were there. Now to be clear, the place was rockin packed for lunch so it wasn't like it was empty and we were the first people to arrive. Their exuberance is not a mark against them... just a little pleasantly strange. We arrived at our table and our uber nice server took our drink orders. He too was almost over the top attentive but in this day and age who is going to complain about that? We ordered the grilled octopus, calamari and shrimp appetizer to share and were all in awe at its smoky grilled goodness. My mouth waters when I think about it and there is a very good chance that I will order it as an entree next time. Yep, it was that good. I ordered the lamb gyro which is called something else and instead of the fries I had the baked okra on the side. I am avoiding bread these days so I ate the guts of my gyro with gusto. The meat was delicious and so was the okra but the goodness of our appetizer overpowered that of my entrees so it was a little anticlimactic but still really good. I do think the menu is a bit overpriced...at least for a place I plan to frequent as a lunch spot. Most entrees were around $10+ except the gyros which were about $8 but if you want a real vegetable instead of fries you have to pay for it as a side. So, they could really use an affordable lunch menu offering slightly smaller portions of their most popular items. Until they add a lunch menu I will only be able to go back infrequently as I am not made of the green stuff. I do sincerely hope they add one though so I can enjoy their food and overall niceness on a more frequent basis.
