by Kathy T. on I feel so cool and classy when I'm here. I know...lame. It's just so different from other LA establishments. People aren't cocky and I ran into so many friendly people. The drinks are good and tasty. I love the way the bartenders dress too. Nice throwback to the twenties (I think). It's definitely a lounging kind place where you talk to friends and meet new and interesting people. The music is played low enough so you can have real conversations! Some people do try to dance, but the music is a little hard to dance to. I love the ample amount of seating available without having to have bottle service. It's great! I just love the ambiance and feeling of this place. Only bad experience was with the pissed off Absinthe fairy who did NOT want to serve us. I don't know what her problem was. Guys...please remember to wear proper attire. They will NOT let you in with the wrong shoes. Also, try to arrive there way before 10. You will be waiting in a long line if you arrive later.
