by Nicholas H. on I like the pool area, and like the service staff. Just things are way too expensive here. Perhaps, it is the crowd that raised the prices of alcohol and the prices of being so close to all the stars! The service staffs are nice and friendly. This, I give it a three stars. If you have the $$$$$ why not spent on something that can be TONS of FUN. Correct? -- Please note that pricing is 9 % tax for the State and 15% service fees added on to each bottle purchased here at Drai's. I taken the liberty of capturing the MENU on here using my phone. by Jenny S. on Shine gets four stars, less because of anything in particular about the bar itself (decor clearly looks a hell of a lot nicer in the dark), but because both the people who own it and the people who go there. Ah and they do have my favorite vodka (Hangar One Mandarin), points there. Plus... hello? Photo booth??? Oh and of course, the music. Especially on the monthly Dirtybird party, Shine brings in some of the best house music around. Quite quintessential SF.
by Abraham Wiemann on The best mid-size music venue in the city. Two levels. Beautiful ballroom motif. And great indie bands play here. Avoid the food. Beware the high drink prices and the all ages shows.
