2.5 average. Sports bar feel in the bar area...and they have a separate area for dancing/band. The 2nd time I went there was an 80's cover band playing in the dance room. I love live music so that was fun. I prefer dancing to top 40's but I can appreciate live music when it's available. 1st time I went, it was more empty so the bartenders were attentive. 2nd time was crowded so had to wait for drinks. Overall, good option when you are not in the Hollywood area. It's casual, laid back scene so I would even opt going in my converse one of these nights to get my dance on!!! LOL. :) I live free cover...so I was sad that I had to pay for cover b/c we were there so late the 2nd time around $10 even for girls. BOOOO on you. The guys were pretty young, but then again, I'm probably just old. Why do I still go to these places?? Oh yea, I like dancing.

I went here for my friend's birthday, but no I cannot judge on having seating, cause she didn't reserve. hehe Anyway, we first walk in, and it's a total change from my usual DTSJ scene :) It's cute, clean, and modern. Everyone there is a little older so I felt a little out of place. The place is surrounded with red velvet and draperies and candles. The place is huge! but the bar is super tiny and was packed! The drinks were suppppppperrr yummy (mainly champagne mixed drinks), but i don't think I can drop $12+ on drinks all the time. If you have seating and get those chocolate covered strawberries, plus hella money, I could see why you would like this place, especially if you're a group of older women (thats who occupied all the seating that night from what I saw). Tell me why downstairs is a whole other story...it was like I went back to DTSJ. So it's like a cellar, i seriously felt like a wine bottle lol. The DJ that night sucked. No really, I felt like I was in a club back in 2005 (old music you heard on the radio millions of times). People were dancing, and having a good time, but I was more comfortable with the House music upstairs, which I'm totally into. The people were totally sketch too. Upstairs everyone seemed very classy. Downstairs, not soo much. I think everyone downstairs was buzzed enough, and that's why they were dancing. I dunno. My friend got a lapdance from some guy and he poked her in the eye. gross.... Overall, nice place and change of scene. Older crowd, pricier drinks, big venue, small bar. DELICIOUS DRINKS :), but too bad i dont have a lot of money...stay upstairs!
