Went here last night after work. This place is all about outdoor fun. It gets really crowded and finding a table can be a challenge but the breeze coming off the Hudson is great and keeps it very cool. The drinks are a little pricey....37 for a pitcher of white sangria, 35 for bucket of 6 coronas. The sangria is good, but not very strong. They also had some lame cover band with a lead singer who wanted to be lady gaga. Overall, I would def come back. I didn't get to try the food but it smelled and looked great. Definitely worth checking out on a hot day.

wandered in here one tuesday night during happy hour while we were barhopping down polk. i looooved the decor of the place, so comfy and classy. what had drawn us in were the $1 oysters. it was my first encounter with raw oysters, admittedly, and i'm glad i was able to have that experience at mayes. i was in good hands. we had half a dozen to try and it was slippery delicious. the tequila was strong and five dollars :) we moved on pretty fast because our stomachs were completely empty except for those oysters and alcohol, but i'd definitely want to head back again for more!
