Nachos, Crispy Taco's, Mimosa's and football Now that's what I call a winning combination! Nick's Crispy Taco's, which is located in the Nob Hill area of SF, is another one of those places that I have had bookmarked for a long, long time. Nick's is a large, cash only restaurant/bar/nightclub. The inside of Nick's is huge. Right when you walk in you see a wide open area that serves as the dining room by day and a dance floor at night. To the right of that is a counter where you place your food order. To the left is the bar area where there are about five or six flat screen televisions hanging above the bar and about nine or ten booths that surround the bar. The inside of Nick's is painted blood red and there are big, gold chandeliers hanging throughout the restaurant. My friends and I arrived at Nick's right when they opened at 10am. On Sundays, when football is on, they offer many early morning drink specials. I usually do not like to drink alcohol that early in the morning but on their AM HH menu they offered large carafe's of Mimosa's for about ten dollars, which is a great deal. My friends and I went through four carafe's before we left Nick's at 1pm. Besides the tasty Mimosa's, we also ordered lots of nachos and crispy tacos. The nachos at Nick's are pretty good, definitely not the best I have had, but better than average. Nick's nachos are made with tortilla chips, nacho cheese, carne asada, tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, and jalapeños. The asada in these nachos was really juicy and tender. Each of us also ordered a bunch of crispy tacos. A crispy taco at Nick's is made by filling a crispy corn tortilla with whatever meat you choose, plus veggies and sauces, and then wrapping a soft corn tortilla around the crispy taco. These are the crispy tacos I ordered: Breakfast CT- Scrambled eggs, cheese, french fries, fresh salsa and sour cream Chicken CT- Strips of juicy chicken, cheese, lettuce, black beans, salsa, sour cream and guacamole Crispy Fish CT- Deep fried fish, cabbage, guacamole and lime mayo All three tacos were great. I really liked how they use both a crispy tortilla and a soft corn tortilla. The best of my three tacos had to be the fish. The fish fillet itself was pretty big and perfectly deep fried in a delicious batter that was semi sweet. The fish was not greasy at all, which is unusual for a deep fried piece of fish. The prices for food here is somewhat high. For my three tacos and an order of nachos my bill was over $25. Since the tacos are not huge I kind of felt like they shouldn't charge $4 a piece for them. The service here was great. Once our orders was placed it took them less than ten minutes to have our food delivered to us at the bar. If you're a fan of nachos crispy taco's, Mimosa's and football than you need to check out Nick's. If you happen to be a fan of those three things than I guarantee you will love Nick's.

Finally, a coffee shop (besides a starbucks) that has a clean design! No random couches or chairs from what look to be purchased from a garage sale, but everything is neat and pretty. (I still love The Living Room) More benefits + Clean bathroom with really nice tile..no fear opening the bathroom door or anything since their is a stall. + NO REGGAE..at least from what I've heard. Why does everyone like Reggae so much? Yeah,  Fall Out Boy isn't my favorite, but I still prefer it. And I don't think i've been in a coffee shop that plays The Strokes.*Bonus* +And alcohol for those that choose. +Friendly employees +A fireplace! +OPEN LATE Yes, quite the good coffee shop indeed..

$6 bottomless mimosas + yummy brunch food+ fun funky servers + loud music = fun drunkenness on a Sat afternoon! I have to say I was shocked that their eggs benedict was delicious! you wouldn't expect much from a place that serves all you can drink mimosas for only $6! But it was really good. The eggs were done just right and the sauce was one of the best I've ever had! Just don't order scramble eggs--it's egg beater in a puddle of butter. gross! But everything else was really good  and the servers are very attentive--refilling your mimosas every few minutes.
