First of all, to everyone that gave this place a bad review, it's clear that you don't get out much or know how to spot or throw a party. Nuf said. To the rest of you... The first time I went to Eve I fell in love with the place - decor, dance floor, bar, bartenders, hell even the bathrooms! The staff were nice and the bartenders ambitious. The best DJs in the city spin here and the bouncers are good looking guys that don't hassle the crowd too much. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen the crowd get retarded at Eve, I've only seen them get down! It's a great location right off the bridge and there is plenty of parking either on the street or in the three pay lots near by. It's only hard to find parking on the weekend when Temple is open across the street. I've never had to walk more than a block tho. Since I started coming for the Thursday night PST party, I've gotten to know the bartenders and they always mix up the drinks just right and they are workin their asses off - even when the bar is 2-3 deep, you still don't have to wait that long. There's plenty of seating along the back wall or up near the DJ booth. Yea, you might get someone shaking their ass in your face if you sit near the dance floor but there is also a whole other wall with a shelf for drinks and a ton of hooks for jackets and purses. I've seen this place packed and it can get a tad warm but I've never seen any problems, the crowd is pretty cool and they do have several staff watching the crowd. Every now and then someone gets it twisted but just take care of your friends and no one gets hurt! I'm not a drink special kind of girl, I like 3 ingredients - ice, liquor, juice. But I know they have $1 champagne specials sometimes and some other deals for happy hour. If you're going to have a party or a big group, plan ahead because they do have a few options for seating for groups but don't just show up and expect it to be cool for you and your entourage. The bathrooms are nice and seem to stay fairly clean - I've never seen any real problems/messes. They have a really great boudoir theme going and it all makes for a very swanky, sexy feel to the place overall. There's an ATM if you forget your cash stash and they take all major credit cards if you roll lite. Every night is a little different - Thursday is the best, then Saturday and then, well, whenever I'm in the house... Hook it up on Facebook and you'll get all the 411 so you can know before you go!
by Pete Zelnick on Nice bar, not too dirty...also not too crowded, so I don't know what that says. Bartender was friendly and helpful. Pool tables, quirky decor...What I enjoyed was their "dead llama" sign...saying be nice to llamas...I love llamas!
