by Lillia Duchesneau on I made a reservation for 20 people for my birthday celebration a week in advance and the service was horrible. More than half of my party was there and they did not want to seat us until everyone arrived. When they finally did seat us it was in an area where the band would be setting up and they told us we would have to be done eating by then. I might add no where in that place would have been able to accommodate 20 people. We asked to be moved since we didn't want to be placed on a time limit. During that time more of my guests arrived and there was no where in the entire place for them to sit. The hostess and General Manager just left them to stand. When I asked to speak to the General Manager, I was under the impression his name was George (after all that is who I booked my reservations with). I was told George was fired earlier that week (how convenient) and the General Manager was now Dwayne. When I spoke to Dwayne he was unsympathetic and pretty much told me it was my fault since my friends arrived late. He said everyone knows groups are not seated until the entire party is there. Sorry Dwayne, I've been to other restaurants that have seated us without the entire group being there. He could care less. He also clearly had a Napoleon Complex. We eventually got up and went across the street to another establishment. The best service we got was from the doorman who offered to walk us across the street with his umbrella since it was raining. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for ruining my birthday.
