by Shandra Mcalexander on Haven't been to Amy's since I moved back and after last night, could not fathom why I have stayed away so long. Probably because my coffee-ice-cream-with-heath is a) dairy (i.e. the devil) and b) has a bajillion calories. whatever. I worked out last night. i deserved it. and boy did I enjoy it. Staff was friendly and funny. Ice cream was amazingly rich and yummy. I would have only given this place 4 starts cuz it was kind of expensive, but it gets 5 for location. We were here at night and it was goregeous to walk around the Arboretum with all the Christmas lights...(although, i still do no get what is up with those giant cow sculptures?) Note this place is cash only, but there is an ATM in front of Cheescake Factory if you are caught off guard.

I was kinda concerned with REMEDY moved to that union square MEGA-CLUB Ruby Skye, but Ben and Justin came back to DNA this year! Woohoo! I have to give them a bonus star for their staff. Last time I was there, there was a girl who clearly had too much to drink, or was in some other bad bad state, and they totally took care of her. It was good to see that she was being taken care of... Oh yeah. And it is right on the MUNI 47, which runs late night. Nothing like arriving at your club with the MUNI entourage.
by Darcey Werries on One of the more well known night spots in the city and also a bit overrated. From the lines outside and everyone telling me it's difficult to get into this place, I was expecting something spectacular when I went inside. However, It's basically just an average club. Not to say it's not a fun place to hang out for a night, but it doesn't really live up to all the hype.
