by Sarah B. on Seriously, does anyone come here and NOT get heartburn and diarrhea? "What'll ya have?" Uh, I'll have a chili dog, onion rings, and a Pepto Bismol shake, please. Sorry guys-- but being old as dirt does not mean a place is automatically good, or even worth visiting in the first place. "The Varsity has been here since 1928!" Yeah, and the food tastes like it's left over from the 30's. My gastrointestinal tract is now entering a Great Depression of its own. You grew up eating here; okay, I get that-- I grew up eating at Golden Corral. Does that mean it's good? If I really want a greasy meal in a place that's old as dirt, I'll hit up Moe's & Joe's Tavern in the Highlands instead. Or the Chick-Fil-A dwarf house. Or, like, any Waffle House, except those nice ones in Buckhead. If I just want to torture myself, I'll eat pretty much anything from Taco Bell rather than come back here. "Pump pump flush."
by Randee Ballard on Can we say something about the hot bartender's at Micky's? Let's not let these cute and generous guys get lost in the abs or vacant stares of the go-go boys, please. Worth the price of admission, they play some good dance and sometimes house music, have a decent size dancefloor and its always a fun time. People are nice here, people talk, there is no attitude amongst the clientele in the way that exists, o say at certain establishments around the corner. As for Sticky? hmm the only thing I stick to here are the boys.
