by Julie B. on My husband and I took my parents to the aquarium Saturday morning. Our entry time was 10:00 and we were glad we went early. We were able to go through a couple of the sections before it really got crowded. By noon there were TONS of people!! But overall, things didn't get too crazy - we were able to go through all five sections, see everything, and linger where we wanted to without any issues. The aquarium has some really nice exhibits and some incredible animals - the beluga whales are just beautiful, as are the incredibly colored fish from all over. The two HUGE manta rays were amazing - one kept doing backward somersaults for us! Really neat. If you are new to the Atlanta area or have family coming in town (especially family with kids) I recommend going early and spending a few hours among the beautiful and varied aquatic life at the Georgia Aquarium
by Steven Coombes on Nice bar, not too dirty...also not too crowded, so I don't know what that says. Bartender was friendly and helpful. Pool tables, quirky decor...What I enjoyed was their "dead llama" sign...saying be nice to llamas...I love llamas!
