by Eugene Eifert on Before I moved to NYC I came here every Sunday night for the Dim Mak Banana Split Sundaes. A million thanks to my dear friend Christian for introducing me to this magical place on this magical night. I'm going to review the actual club NOT the event.. it's not ur average HUGE hollywood club but its not tiny either. There are two bars on in the front room to the left of the entrance and the other in this sort of 1/2 outdoor patio area that's not always open. You can smoke in the 1/2 patio. The main dance floor is pretty small but its workable. The DJ booth is right next to the dance floor which is pretty cool, makes for some awesome photos with big name DJs up close. The outdoor smoking area is gorgeous with lines of mirrors and comfy couches. Not to much space throughout the club is dedicated to tables which is nice. The bathrooms are fantastic and don't have locks, its modern and concrete and hollywood dirrrtty. LOVE IT. Fav night is Sundae for the lack of pretention and amazing music. Parking on the street if ur lucky or $10 in the lot adjacent.
by Rosario Grageda on i went on a saturday, which was supposed to be their best night. i waited on line for a good 20 minutes. paid $20 cover! couldn't even dance because the dance floor was so packed. went to the bar, paid $37 for two drinks which were made VERY wrong. drank them anyway. headed to the bathroom where the stalls were extremely small and uncomfortable. my friend got her bag stolen from her wrist later on in the night. they did absolutely nothing to help. turns out they don't have cameras in that section of the club. soo if you want to do some dirty business, go on the stage and DO YOU. the music was the usual.... top 40's... JT, Fergie, Jay Z, etc. i will NEVER go back to this club again. well it IS right by times square. i should've known better.
by Adam B. on Loud club on the top of the Hollywood and Highland complex. Major plus is the dress code is usually relaxed (as is the case with most LA clubs) and the other is a nice outside multi-level deck area. Lots of room to move and still hear the music without blowing your ears out. Also, if you get the right barkeep, he or she will give you earplugs. Free.
