Good ambiance! Staff was totally accommodating and reserved/put together a series of tables for me & my group of 10. The tapas were good - not a huge selection, but all very tasty. The flight that night was a french flight. A sparkling, white, rose, and red. The whites left a lot to be desired, but the rose & red were pretty good. I guess that's what a tasting is all about - finding out what you like and don't!! Sampled some of their sangria that night too - tasty but pricey!! They have a parking garage space right behind that is free to customers - there is also a 90 minute free garage just north on Raymond.

What an awful place to be stuck in on a Saturday night! Recommended by Hotel Gansevoort (I should slap that concierge the next time I see him...), me and my girlfriend found ourselves stuck between the most boring couple ever and two bold middle aged men out to get laid. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak and the waitress was a mess. Both in the way she looked and in the way she acted. My girlfriend asked if the sushi menu could be ordered without tuna which Miss Ultra-Impolite answered couldn't be done. My girlfriend said she would have it anyway, as she thought the large sushi portion would be too much for her to finish, but ended up with 8 out of 12 pieces of tuna on the plate! Hello? If you knew the main ingredients in the sushi would be tuna, why didn't you tell her to order something else, Waitress-from-hell? When I went out for one of my cigarette breaks (breaks were well needed during the night) I had to argue with the door man to get back in even though he had seen me walking in and out several times during the evening and in addition I was out in the cold dressed in a strapless dress without my purse and only had a pack of cigarettes in my hand. A perfect ending to an awful night... On the positive side, I guess we would have had more fun if we were in a large group out for drinks, but the clientele was not exactly my cup of tea.

I used to go to Deep Sunday back when it first open...back in 2000-2001 can't remember--most def the best hangout on a Sunday night. Great vibe, people whom were there were true house fans--Marques Wyatt rocks and his guess DJs were world-class! I haven't been in the scene for awhile, i'm glad to hear that it's still holding up--Stay TRUE!
