by Dominique D. on I love this place! I'm surprised by the negative reviews. First, the location is great, because it's just around the corner from another club that I love. I think they play great music--it's popular, current music with some older music mixed in. The crowd looks great, lots of models, and I've seen celebs here too. The best nights, as at most places, are the special events, like the all white anniversary party, or my favorite, Christina Aguilera's album release party. I've never gone here on a bad night, but maybe they exist, looking at these reviews!

Thanks rateclub for another great Elite event at a bar that I have driven past many times but never would have noticed! I'll be back for more rateclub Big-O drinks (many thanks to Diane, our really nice bartender!) and that photo booth that I didn't get a chance to get in (there are some really funny pics on http://www.shinesf.com!). I really liked the cozy laid back vibe, but like some others, was kinda irked by the 1-way mirror in the bathroom with the broken door!
