by Verena Raburn on This was my first time eating at Morimoto in Philly and I think for the price, it was pretty good. The presentation and quality was great, and the service was stellar. I ordered the tuna pizza starter (very flavorful and actually the tuna on top tasted someone like thinly sliced tomatos) which was very good, the $30 sushi/roll combo, and finished off with a miso cake with vanilla ice cream. I thought overall the taste was good but not amazing. The White Peach drink I had, the service and ambiance were amazing - that's why I give it an overall rating of 4 stars. Plus, Morimoto doesn't hurt Morimoto is my favorite Iron Chef.

The music was pretty decent, the staff was your usual asshole-y NY security types, and the people that go there are pretty much snobs. Pretty crowded in there, nothing special like most people said. Good place if you wanna blow all your money on like two drinks... Major bonus: you can smoke in there and not have anyone yell at you.
by Luan N. on I went when 3 dot productions use to promote. I can't complain too much with free entry, but I would never go if I paid cover. I just didn't feel there was anything visually appealing about the club and the dance floor was tiny.
