by Alida Snellbaker on I went for happy hour on a Thursday. It was packed! good music DJ Salah Ananse was there and wonderful atmosphere. The chicken samosa were the bomb! the waiters were very nice and the drinks were cheap. I will return so that I can eat at the restaurant . . . so far so good.
by Merrilee Donlon on After getting off work on Tuesday night, I met a large group of people at rumor around 11:30 for a birthday reservation. We had to wait in line which i didnt mind. Once we got to the front of the line this guy comes out and starts eyeing everyone. First thing he said to me was do you have anything else to wear?...your not dressed properly. I guess my diesel V neck wasn't proper for rumor... Now keep in mind this guy had long hair, white blazer, ed hardy shirt, black paints and white Adidas( just think of k fed in walk this way video). After getting a blazer lent to me he finally lets us in! We didn't have to pay because we had a list but the door fee was $20...i think. My Drinks 1.Crown Royal on the rocks($12) 2.Gin and Tonic ($12) 3.Patron shot which i asked to not be shaken but they did anyways...wtf! ($15) 4.Vodka Tonic ($12) 5.whisky sour($12) Yea i know i know mixing alcohol...bad idea!!! but i was fine! Rumor was divided into 2 rooms, hip hop and house/techno music In the hip hop room you see all these "ganstas, g money yo yo yo guys" you know the ones with the bling blang and sunglasses in the club popping some bub...lmao can you say clowns? can anyone tell me why you wear sunglasses at night? in the club where its dark...are you blind? or just dumb? ohh sorry i didnt realize we were in a lil wayne music video. ohhh snap here comes the auto-tune voice!!! In the Techno room i was amazed at the amount of latin kids. I felt like i was in South America! Majority of people were speaking spanish which was fine with me. hmmm maybe i was in another country...nope just drunk!!! whatever it was...it was a breath of fresh air! the music was amazing and the girls were beautiful! All i can say is i felt latin heat and daddy likes! ; ) Overall i had a great time...I will be back! Look for me in the Techno room!!! 4 Stars overall! -1 star because of K fed!!
by Ken H. on Genki is consistently good eats. Great bowls and the quality of the sushi is grade A (and I used to work for the largest fish distributor in the South). Try the Don-style bowl and the Reid Roll.
