by Bee P. on This is where MOOD used to be. Same cramped space but slightly nicer decor. I went there last night and the door was bananas. All of security was cool except for a guy named Brooklyn. He was the epitome of a-hole. Guys: your best bet is to get a table. Girls: don't go in groups of more than 4. Will i go again? No.
by Billy Rissman on Yes..beautiful decor and vibe. Think European parlor with a dash of Anna Sui funk. Was there to see Imogen Heap perform. Nice intimate feel from the upper and lower levels of seating, good sound system, decent piano. But, DAMN....if you're hungry, make sure you eat beforehand! I had ONE appetizer: three tiny potato pancakes (each about the size of a newborn infant's hand) and it was around $37.00! Three drinks and it was $60.00 at the bar, standing. So, yeah....I think you get the point. No, it's not your typical Lower East Side haunt. My advice.....bring your Sugar-daddy/momma with deep pockets.
