by Kyoko Hybarger on Went here last night and had a good time. Came for a company after party so I'm not sure about the doorman, but I could see him being a problem on a normal night. Great space, good DJ, and a well rounded crowd. Points off for a depressing beer selection and a glass door -- always a problem when stumbling out.
by Annika Cuzzo on Yeay! Compound is open once more! Beautiful remodel, amazing space and love the vibe. I don't really do clubs that often and I live in San Francisco, but when I do visit Atlanta I have to come to Compound. I love the drinks, multiple bars, multiple dance areas. Its definitely the place to see and be seen when you are in Atlanta. Can't wait for the new Vision to re-open on Peachtree St. right across the street from the old Vision. It should be opening in a few months.
by Nicole K. on Maybe this glove just doesn't fit, but Webster Hall and I couldn't bump elbows. I came here for a few small band shows (Van Atta High, which my friend insisted on seeing). Entrance was only $7 and the people are really sociable and easy to talk to. The bathroom mirrors are beautiful, but it's just so dark and damask inside and some of the concert goers (who frequent there often enough) are malicious. Maybe it was the show and other shows might be better, but I felt disappointed at my first visit. I was in the smaller venue and it was ridiculously crowded with bad B.O. positively no seating and crowds of people act sketch.
