by Arlen Borok on I've been here a number of times and its not really my cup of tea but after a few drinks with family or friends its a guarantee you'll have a good time. Enjoyed a number of items: Ahi Burgers, dungeness crabcakes, sansho spiced filet mignon, Miniature Tropical Ice Cream Cones
by Charles Honts on Let's start with five stars and work our way down. 5 - half star for waitress also being the bartender so wasn't really around at all. 4.5 - minus 1 star for them taking our money and not offering the change. They tipped themselves over 20%, which is fine if the food or service was great. 3.5 - minus half star for not letting us have our one little chair in the corner to keep our purses/coats on. So that's the 3 stars. The staff was really nice and food was good, although needed salt and there was none to be found and no waitress around to ask. OH, and the guacamole was disgusting! I think they made it with really old avocados. There were three of us and we all couldn't take a second bite! So I guess that gives them 2.5 stars. Once the music/dancing started there was a very electic mix of parties, including about 5 jock guys in cuttoffs and flip flops beside us who weren't dancing which was sort of weird.
by Nicole K. on Maybe this glove just doesn't fit, but Webster Hall and I couldn't bump elbows. I came here for a few small band shows (Van Atta High, which my friend insisted on seeing). Entrance was only $7 and the people are really sociable and easy to talk to. The bathroom mirrors are beautiful, but it's just so dark and damask inside and some of the concert goers (who frequent there often enough) are malicious. Maybe it was the show and other shows might be better, but I felt disappointed at my first visit. I was in the smaller venue and it was ridiculously crowded with bad B.O. positively no seating and crowds of people act sketch.
