by Sheila L. on The bartenders are nothing special and the house wine is pretty crappy. The decor is nice and its interesting how the stage is above the bar. I heard the crowd was attractive but it was not particularly interesting the happy hour I went to. Probably will try another time because I like the layout and the decor and it seems spacious.
by Briana Kurisu on Out of all the Amy's locations, this is probably the one I frequent the most. My most memorable visit came a few months ago when several friends and I stopped by after a Christmas (Holiday/Hanukkah/ Festivus/etc ) party. As fate would have it, it was a Thursday night which meant karaoke time! There were about 12 of us, to the two employees (one of whom was busy setting up the sound equipment) were a bit overwhelmed. The single ice cream scooper worked well under pressure and had our ice cream in one hand and the microphone in the other in no time. Needless to say, we completely tore it up in there. We were standing on chairs, tables, even each other while belting out "The 12 Days of Christmas" at the top of our little lungs, and the Amy's workers couldn't have been cooler about it. In fact, they were quite pleased with the fact that the gawking onlookers were beginning to file inside to buy ice cream and see what all the fuss was about. We haven't made it back to karaoke night since, but we will. And for when we do, I've got only two suggestions: a) have more scoopers on deck and b) prepare to party hard.
