by Shara Julitz on We went here last Sept 18 for a friends bday.. we got in around 8pm coz we went for the full course meal and the show. Its just the four of us and the total bill we paid was $398.00 was it worth it?????? NO For the show,, not really impressive or good enaf. The things u will see there are the things u can see anywhere. There was this guy balancing in a rope,,the a BLUE bunny gay guy,,who's trying to be funny by doing sexual jokes. Its ok at first but becomes boring..nothing new. The thing i liked abt d show its a japanese sensual dance performed by 2 dancers. Everythnig else is mediocre or even less than average. Food: we ate steaks, a COLD soup served in a dogfood bowl, icecream and then some shrimp appetizer. Was it all tasty and yummy??? It Was OKAY. Nothing extra special. THE PLACE Itself--it was nice!!! Very comfy, clean and classy..they have beds all over so u can relax n enjoy the show. I like their concept and their presentation for everyttng. BAD experience: Our table and the one beside us wasnt served the MAIN DISH (steak) for a reason we dint know,. They simply forgot to serve us...sooo baddd ryt. We only fgured it out coz they were serving the dessert alrdy. And the food server insist that we eat the ice crm first bcoz it takes a while to cook d steak.. they even dint apologze. I recommend this bar if u wana go clubbing coz trhe music is nice n place n ppl are so classy., But for u to experience the whole dinner stuf wd a $100/head not so worth it. Save ur money and do sumtng else!!
by Francesca M. on What can I say, I love Me some MV!! I love the fact that the club is BYOB and membership is pricey enough that it eliminates the rif raf. I have been a member for 3 yrs and actually have a lifetime membership. Everyone at the club is extremely nice and the other members are very respectful. They serve food which is great. Its always a good time at Miami Velvet so if you're curious, go ahead and check it out with an open mind and I assure you will not be dissapointed. The best part is they have a party once a month called The Chocolate Parties, and I have so much fun at that event. I go every month and love the sexy crowd. Great hip hop and hot young ladies and couples!!! Keep it up!!
