by jane d. on this might be my favorite spot in the city. i would had given it five stars if they served ciroc. i really like the djs (90s hip hop, reggae, club bangaz), and they have a lil side room filled with b-boys, good sound system, strong drinks, $9 for greygoose and club $5 for corona def way more dudes then ladies, and the kinda of dudes that just watch girls dance, not dance with them, lame. if you have an Asian fetish, this is def your spot. also i know my overpriced streetwear is definitely appreciated.... by Elliott Lace on I actually had an excellent time at Hiro, despite some of the reviews of it being lame. We got in with no problem and the music was pretty good (not amazing, but not as bad as the music at APT which we escaped only minutes before). At least we could DANCE which was the key. Coat check is $3 btw. Anyway, I didn't end up drinking anything, but I still had a good time dancing. I was a little mesmerized by the girls in the white sheets suspended from the ceiling, I'll admit that. Overall, fun time, good music, great friends and a nice time dancing. Could've had a much better time, but whatever, it was a fun night overall.
