one and a half stars.. Bowling: I am not a regular bowler, but I have been to some of the other bowling places around manhattan, this this place definitely ranks the lowest in terms of the quality of the facilities, uneven lanes, used/dented bowling balls and the scoring machine barely functioned and oh, 1/5 times when the pins were reset, one or more of the pins would be down and we would have to "reset" again, which would mess us the scoring (due to the funny score keeping machine". Sooooo if you like to bowl, this isn't that place for you. That being said, if you just want a relaxed time and don't care if the balls kit the pin, this place is pretty okay. Food: The menus (we had 2) were both gross and sticky. We hit the service button and waited about 20 mins for service. When no one came, we went around the lanes looking to flag down a wait staff. Once we did, she was fine and gave good service. The food however, we really really bad.. I wouldn't order any thing from them again.. drinks were okay but all we had was beer which is pretty hard to mess up I suppose... All it all, the location is great, love the unpretentious atmosphere (1.5 stars), but probably wouldn't go back due to the state of the bowling facilities and the service/food issues we experienced.

Hooray for sketchy club night! Honestly, this is totally not the type of place I'd frequent at all...BUT, that being said, every once in a while you need to get wasted and go to a sketchy club. And when the need arises for you to have said drunken dance party...Saint is the kind of place where you can REALLY have the full sketchy club experience. My suggestion: - go in a group. This is not the type of place a girl wants to visit alone...unless she's looking for a little something something that comes in a tight Ed Hardy t-shirt and goes only by first names. true. -Get on the list ahead of time. Waiting sucks, but what sucks more than waiting? PAYING ($15?!?!?) to get into a sketchy club. Sara S. had the hook up and got us on the list so we didn't have to wait or pay cover. kudos to her. -Have enough drinks ahead of time to ignore the sketchiness. This is really key to having a good time at Saint because there's a lot to look at...but if you've relaxed with a few adult beverages before hand, you will laugh instead of shudder. -Bring your dancing shoes! This isn't a bar for wall flowers. Sure you could go and not dance, but then you'd be one of the creepy hovering people that hides in the shadows and then you'd be even more sketchy than you already are by going here to begin with. Come prepared to dance your face off because the beats will have you on your feet. -Stay with your friends. The sketchy factor of saint is what makes it fun, but also what makes it a little iffy, too. Do not let your friends go to the bar/bathroom/coatroom/outside to smoke a cigarette without you. -Be friendly! You will have random encounters with tons of strangers who will want to dance with you, talk with you, maybe even mount you on a couch (looking around the room we saw this happen at least twice)... strangers are your friends at saint, apparently, so put on a smile, stay close to your friends, and watch the madness ensue around you. -Dance near the giant poles of light. Trust me, its worth it. -Bring cash...for the cab ride home. Sure the bar takes credit cards, but after a night of working it out on the dance floor, you won't want to walk far to get cash for a cab...or walk home. Have fun!!

Excellent classy atmosphere. Pro's - Beautiful city views - Awesome drinks - Not terrible prices considering how nice the club is. - Sexy gogo dancers by our table! - Everyone gets to play dress up, the girls loved it Con's - Windows fog really fast on the dancefloor, ruining the coolness of a dancefloor with a killer view. Gotta find a way to defog them. - Terrible DJ that closed the night this wednesday. TERRIBLE. if I knew he always played at that time, I generally would leave starlight. It was frustrating for us because we wanted to dance at the end of the night and we were left with him. Why was the DJ so bad? - Frequently mixing off time (not a trainwreck, but musically trained ears will hear it. 99% of crowd will not) - Not sensing the crowd's feel, whether they want to continue listening to a particular song.... for example Ain't No Mountain High enough is on, everyone in the crowd is singing along, having a great time for about 2 mintues, and BAM he changes tracks with no warning slightly off time and everyone in the crowd was confused - He had what seemed like a 90 second maximum sometimes for songs. It was really annoying, I could never get in a good groove.
