Stayed here for quite a number of weeks before finally moving to Atlanta. I love and hate W Hotels. W Hotels are unique, fun and chic. But they seriously lack in convenience. You're from out of town and you need to get some tampons from the hotel store? Good luck finding one at the W. The decor of this W is nice, there are 3 bars I believe, and all 3 are quite nice. The free coffee in the morning was very good, and they also offer some unique teas. Tried their shuttle service (Acura service) to get to work, it is complimentary but of course you have to tip. It's again, not convenient even though it sounds like it should be. A number of times they didn't have a driver, and another number of times it was just too busy. The guy told me to take a cab instead. Yes, I know I can take a cab, but what then is the point of your "Acura Service" that should be serving your customers?

Le Club is as elite as it gets. The new 'cloob' is posh and secluded, almost unassuming (a nightclub in Nob Hill, gasp, for those who know their history this used to be the location of Charles Nob Restaurant). If the guests that were there last night -- Christopher and Amber Marie Bentley, the owners of Bourbon & Branch and Dosa, etc. -- are any indication, San Francisco's finest revelers will be all over this place like olives in a martini. Speaking of which, the drinks are top-notch. Our man Cassidy poured us some stiff and well-built ones, with charm and wit to boot. The space is broken up into different parlors, perfect for decadent little gatherings, or mayhap a game of billiards or poker. Forget Hilton, If I'm spending one night in Paris, it's right here.
