2 things on this menu that are to die for: 1. The sesame crusted tuna 2. the seitan meatloaf It is a good place to meet friends for good food and drinks.  It is a little on the small side so you can't do big goups here. There are no knock your socks off appetizers but the shrimp roll and the mac and cheese are not bad

I see why the reviews are all over the place. The problem is Hong Kong is a three in one (unless you're like me and you think that's not a problem, but wonderful!). Here's what you need to know. Downstairs is a chinese restaurant. Next floor up is a bar. Next floor up is a comedy club, but turns into a dance club at 10 on the weekends (not sure if it makes the transition on the weekdays and/or what time it happens). I've never been to the center of the oreo here so my review stands for the restaurant and the comedy club. I love the chinese food. The crab rangoons are delectable and I've sometimes pretended to want to eat dinner just so I can have them as an appetizer. They recently updated the decor downstairs and it's a major improvement. I usually order the hot basil rice w/ chicken and it's always fresh and fantastic. In fact, everything I've ordered has been great! I never expect great things from the service though. 'Nuf said. It's never been terrible. Just not great. Sometimes weird. The comedy club is...AWESOME! Word to the wise: if going on the weekend you must must must reserve (you can do this online). That way you can get a table seat and not be stuck trolling for one of the uncomfortable chairs in the back. Table seats are really close to the stage, though, and so if you don't want to be a part of the show you should request to be put in the middle or the back of those seats. It's open Wednesday through Sunday, I think. You should check out their website to be sure. On Tuesdays they do a magic show. My fiance went said it as pretty good. I've never been. Rick Jenkins owns it and is the host. I've been there enough I could probably deliver his jokes for him, but he always cracks me up. He's a super nice guy and totally helpful w/ the reservations and any questions you got. The comedy is always on its game. They've got some regulars I don't find too funny, but you never know. No accountin' for taste. Bathrooms are a little sketchy. Kinda so you can't tell if they're clean. But to be honest everything else about the place is so awesome I can't really dwell here. Best part is you can eat chinese food while you watch the show. Fresh from downstairs. Pretty awesome. The service is a little shoddy, but you have to understand how difficult it must be for those girls milling around while there's a comedy show going on. Seriously, the comedy's a great experience. It's a must see on the tour for anyone coming into Boston to visit me. The scorpion bowls do not, I repeat do not live up to their hype. I'm pretty sure they throw some strawberry-kiwi koolaid in there and call it a day. I've actually had one by myself and didn't feel a thing. Wouldn't be a big thing except I'm the farthest thing from a lush and usually get a little woozy after two glasses of wine. It's an experience, but not one I'm willing to check out again.

If you're wanting a place to go dancing without all the cheese, mighty is fantastic. Regardless of the night, they are always spinning some sweet beats...even better if your favorite dj is spinning. I caught Adam Freeland there and had a fantastic time. A couple of years ago, I spent NYE at mighty...overall a fun night. However I recommend getting your tickets early (check out their website) for any of the bigger events...great way to save so $$$. If you are interested in checking it out, you can sign up online to be on the guest list for free Friday night admission...only catch is that you have to get there between 9 - 11:00 pm.
