I've only had the chance to eat here once, but the food was phenomenal. Before dinner we had drinks and they were great too. Our waitress was very helpful in assisting us choose from their unique drink menu and when one of our party wound up really not liking their drink our waitress brought them something else free of charge. Dinner was a bit pricy for me to eat there regularly, but it's well worth it. I've heard the wait can be long, but the night we went it only took 10-15 minutes to be seated. Also, they had art from a local artist, Steve Brudniak, who I absolutely adore. The ambience in general is dark and intriguing, very romantic.

I was so excited to go to this place, after reading all these positive reviews. I'm almost curious if there is another Dante's Down the Hatch in Atlanta. Are these folks going to the same place that I went to, or are the people just friends with the owners? Fondue and Jazz is a great theme. If you want to go somewhere enjoy great jazz (9 dollars extra per person), see a pirate ship, and great ambience, this place definitely fits the bill. If you are looking to enjoy your meal, and not pay a fortune, this play is definitely not for you. They bring you out a small plate of raw vegetables and meat, with four sauces and then let you do the rest. Since you aren't paying for a chef to cook your food, is it really neccesary that they charge you 9 dollars a person to enjoy the music? My party and I definitely left this place upset and hungry, and 200 dollars poorer. If fondue is your thing, you may have better luck at the melting pot.
