by Jennifer f. on I went to S.O.B's for the Eric Roberson concerta and had an amazing time. The only downside to the night was the ghetto ladies that kept bumping into me and getting wild and crazy over the songs. Besides, them being nasty and disgusting and trying to mess up my night I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the music. Will definitely come here again.
by Alejandrina Aspell on Mega night club with several large rooms, each playing a different genre of music (house/techno, R&B, top 40 pop). Cool lighting in the dance rooms. I came here on Halloween ($23 admission fee), and the dance floors were packed! Sometimes, it was difficult to dance with people constantly pushing me to get from one point to another inside the dance rooms. At least a dozen creepy male strangers attempted to grope me, and some stalked me even when I deliberately moved three feet away. Also, bathroom lines can be ridiculously long here. I would recommend staying with your group of friends for the whole time, because people literally disappear for at least 45 minutes when they leave the dance room to go to the bathroom or to get a drink from the bar. And it's almost impossible to meet up with friends at the club, because the space is so huge. However I did run into a bunch of my old Emory friends whom I had not seen since graduation, so that was cool. Don't wear your nice shoes here. I went in with BLACK shoes, came out with the same shoes, but they turned white. Not sure how that happened, but it could have resulted from a combination of the drunk dude who fell at my feet and the drinks spilled by random people.
