Food: Pretty blah. It's not a good sign when the people you are eating with can't exactly tell you what they are eating. Not the name of the dish, but the actual main ingredient. Nor is it very Mexican... I grew up in border states and visited 100 times... but never had shitake mushrooms in a quesadilla, or beer battered coconut shrimp with a honey chipotle sauce. I think it's great to experiment, but this is Chilis-caliber fare. Service: I've only been once so it's not fair to judge the whole place as I dealt with one person. But I experienced the similarly reported extreme slowness and bad attitude from that person. I see rave reviews for the mojito and marg selection, but I only wanted a couple of simple well drinks and was charged $10 each after waiting 20 minutes per order. It might be fine for salsa dancing, etc. but I wouldn't return to eat or drink.

This is such a great place and gives us the excuse not to trek into the city to have great food:) My husband and I have been here multiple times and the food has always been excellent. Last year their was an awful snowstorm and we decided to head out to dinner despite the weather. We literally had a the place to ourselves and were treated like gold. Servers are extremely personable and make you feel really welcome here. It's a little pricey but hey, you get what you pay for! If you are on the fence, definitely go have a try!!
