Wow---good times! I read the reviews so I knew it was going to be good but it turned out better then I expected!! who would of thought getting rid of the effin little kids and adding booze and a DJ would make it sOOOOOO much fun! The crowd was awesome and if you're a single male like me you'll love the nice skirts walking around. I think it should be more of a single scene but you do have your couples there being all lovy dovy. My only gripe is that the Planetarium sells out fast so I didnt get a chance to see it and I really wanted too!! The aquarioum was my favortie...there is just something about drinking booze and seeing fish that is so relaxing. I'm def going back one more time to check out the Planetarium show..but if you havent gone then go!!! p.s. drinks are pricey so pre-drink like i did!! ha ha

Emerald Pub, as of late, has been a go-to after-work bar for my office crowd and who can complain about a full-bar half-off happy hour? I surely can't. The dim lighting and overall dark mood do a good job of masking the divey aspect of it all, the bartenders and bouncers alike are more than friendly, and the drinks are strong like bull. Naturally, this place gets a lot of leftovers from Sway and The Anchor, so it's easy to write it off as second-rate. Sure, there are no celebrity DJs spinning 'til the sun comes up, but Emerald Pub never positions itself as such and deserves to be a destination all its own, at least for a few libations after a long day at the office. A warning to the weak - it is almost effortless to get drunk here. Emerald Pub really doesn't do "buzzes". It's one of those seedy bars where even the beer magically seems to double in stiffness. Keep the expectations low, your tolerance lower, and you're good to go.

The croud there is usually pretty cool but I would reccomend against going on Wednesdays due to all of the non-ATL types that go there before going to MJQ.  On other week nights the place is awesome.
