Dinner on Wednesday, 10/6/10 (First visit) My friends took me out for an early birthday dinner. Not many people have heard of this place so it was pretty empty. We were greeted right away when we walked in and were seat right away. The service was great although it might have a lot to do with a small number of customers. The place looked very artistic and they also have a lounge off to the side if you decide to stay longer. For a party of 6, we ordered 2 jumbo cocktail shrimps and a calamari. They were both delicious! The shrimps were huge and the calamari had a bit of cheese fried into them. As for our dinner, we ordered the duck confit pizza, the house special pizza, the house special ravioli, and 3 orders of the house special seared scallops. They were all unique but came in small portions. Moving onto dessert, we had a chocolate mousse and cheesecake. As for my birthday dessert, I had my choice of the creme brulee with white chocolate. All the dishes came nicely prepared and rich with flavor. I would recommend this restaurant for those who enjoy eating a nice meal for quality and not quantity. The bill came out to ~$300 including tax and gratuity.

Hands down the best steak I've ever had in my life! I can still remember my first bite...drool worthy and thats not something that i'll say that often. Started with the tuna tartare and though i dont usually enjoy plantain chips, these were amazing with a little bit of sugar on them. i got the porterhouse and my friend got the bone-in filet, both at the recommendation of our waitress. Service was ok, she started warming up after we ordered our steaks and 2nd bottle of wine. Creamed spinach and truffle mac-n-cheese were both excellent sides. Expect to spend at least $80-$100 a person, unless you're not drinking. And if you're trying to get into Tenjune afterwards, good luck with that. STK has no hook-up in making that happen. But then, if you know the right people, anything is possible!
