In a Pat's v. Geno's showdown, Pat's wins easily. Geno's bread is better, baked well and more substantive. But who goes for the bread? I actually sat down and had both sandwiches in one sitting. Pat's steak is superior. It's juicy and flavorful, whereas Geno's is flat and dry. Just warm up some roast beef and stick it on a bun. It beats shelling out $8 for bland on bread at Geno's. Needless to say, my Pat's flag has been hoisted.

I love MJQ! It's so refreshing to go to a place where you can just be yourself and have a good time. MJQ itself doesn't look so great on the outside but once you go inside its so dark you won't care, you'll soon discover what its all about: music, dancing, drinking, and having a good time. I warn you though, its close quarters down there, so expect to get sweaty. Girls, don't put on your pretty cocktail dress, and guys no button downs please. You will look like you landed in the wrong club. But regardless, you can show up however you like to MJQ as the crowd is mostly non-judgmental (unlike most ATL clubs) and a mix of black, white, asian, etc... The music is great, its mostly a mix of hip-hop, don't expect to hear top 40 hits all night because the DJ's mix it up a lot. You may run into some unusual people to say the least. When I was there I was asked if I had some LSD (which I don't), and I saw quite a few older transvestites (just a warning to some of the guys hehe). But if you go there with the intent of having a good time, get a couple of drinks and you will undoubtedly be going back! Plus cover is only usually $5 :)
