The bartender didn't know what Bombay Sapphire was. That was my first impression of Eve over a year ago, and unfortunately the staff is still unwelcoming, the specialty cocktails are still awful, and the decor is still incredibly tacky (oh, those chandeliers!). I'm sure it suits a certain set just right, but I won't be back again.

I have been to this place when it was butterfly... when it was Lavende Lounge and now when it is Coda. Although the decor has not changed much .. the vibe and the setup has. No longer is it low and loungy ... it's kind of more upright and focused on the stage which I like. I had the cofee crusted pork loin and it was freaking delicious. I also has the brussel sprouts which were really good... they had lots of other stuff with them ... so it was nice little potpouri of goodness :) I had the truffle fries .. and they tasted like they may have had garlic on them because they were so truffley .. is that a word ? truffley? :) If girls tasted truffley that could be dangerous ;) Lastly I had the sautted shrooms... they were ok ... not the greatest ,... but they did go really well in the Jameson cream sauce that was slathered all over the pork loin. The drinks were also good.... they COULD have a little better whiskey selection.. I mean ... Jazz and whiskey to me ... kind of like PBnJ..... but all in all good food. The music was also great .. the Jazz Mafia is a group of young, multi talented artists performing an array of jazz/R&B/Soul/Funk/Hip Hop types of tunes..... the music was not so loud that you could not talk a little if you wanted to... people were even dancing ,..... and I did not get hit with any spit from the horn section. :) Props to Coda for breathing some fresh air into a space that has had more turns than a june bride in a feather bed. also ... love the outdoor leather smoking/waiting couch ;)

Coming here has been the most traumatizing experience of my life. Do not come here ever. Very very ghetto and just a waste of time.
