I don't think there is anything else to be said about Delux, it's been around and they offer nothing but great food; the Classic Burger and the Delux burger are both very delicious. I like Delux better and I do recommend medium rare; the quality of the meat is unbelievable. Love the sweet fries; I do prefer the mixture of both sweet and regular fries.

This review is for the middle floor of this multi-story club. A friend of mine was kind enough to invite me out on a recent Saturday night. Got to the spot and waited at the Hollywood Blvd entrance. Surprisingly the wait was short (by Hollywood club line standards), I figure we were there for only 30 minutes before being let in. $20 cover, blah. 3 flights of stairs later and we're in the middle floor of the club (from what I understand there s a "basement" level and the "I know people that know people" rooftop bar). This portion of the club was okay-- the room is bisected into the dance floor side and the bar/lounge side. I stayed most of the night in the bar/lounge side because I enjoy conversation and people-watching more than booty-shaking. Good amount of cute girls, with pockets of cliquish Asians that roamed the club like a pack of gazelles. I avoided them for the most part (my ROI on such interactions tend to make it not worth my time, despite being Asian myself) and stuck with the more friendly Black and White crowd. Good music selection, so yay DJ. The cold, harsh lights of reality were flicked on at 1:30am but the dancing and socializing didn't stop until 2:00am. Maybe it's just me but it felt weird to be in a club and be able to clearly see who I'm talking with. Overall it was an enjoyable evening. If they ever drop that cover down to a reasonable rate ($5-10 is fair, to me, all things considered) then it'd earn itself another star. If they allowed rooftop access after a certain time (i.e., 1:00am or something) then it might earn it more brownie points. If I actually knew what was on the roof I might be more inclined to spend money on said roof, nawmean?
