by Chris T. on Ok I've been here tons of times and it's time for a review. First time I was ever here was WAY before it opened. The construction was about 70% done so it wasn't much to look at. The owner gave me, an idiot "friend", and our bartending teacher a tour of the place during the time. I was amazed so far, he explained to us the designs and concepts. I saw the concept arts and it was really amazing, but not what you see at the place now. Everything there was handmade, even that huge wooden sculpture that you see. I couldn't imaging that the red bricks behind the bar would look as good like that when finished.....because it was in boxes..... He also explained the whole unisex restrooms, which is a space saver in my opinion.....that's all.... not really impressive. The total cost of Infusion was $24 million.... compared to Ruby Skye's $11 million. After the nightclub has opened, I must admit....I was impressed. The place looked amazing, and I loved the lounge area where you have your private liquor locker. But who really is gonna do that? The models were ok looking.... the girls on the dance floor looked better because they were less skanky looking.... maybe working for a modeling company for so many years spoiled me -_-; Play great music or bring in famous DJs and NOT musicians/celebrities and models...because people don't really care about that kind of stuff. Regular girls look better and they are nicer. The "models" that go there for appearances are not all that.....this is San Francisco, there are alot of girls here....so us guys don't really care. Basically, no one give a damn about the glitz and glam....if there was any, just good music and a good time and great people. Things I would change here, nothing really, maybe the layout? It seems like its a long club than a big wide one...... It seems like it's doing well, just as long as it doesn't become like the other clubs in SF..... you know what I'm talking about..... Oh by the way.... stop screwing people that are on the guestlist and making them wait to go in until the last minute. Why have a guestlist if you're gonna screw them over into paying anyway by not letting them in? It's stupid, because your making these people go back to Temple and even Wet in San Jose instead of your place. I don't mind paying because I'm rich, but take care of those people. Maybe it's not you guys, it's probably the promoters. I've thrown parties before, it's not the way to go. Take care of your people, they'll take care of you. BTW, $4 bottles of beer is NOT happy happy hour prices.... Polk is close by.... you really think you'll beat them in Happy Hour? going back to that "idiot friend" from the first part of the review..... A few weeks after the private tour, Idiot and I went to my bar to have dinner and drinks. We then meet this guy....shaggy and semi dirty looking. He was wearing red track clothes.... Idiot starts talking to him and starts talking about Infusion Lounge. Stranger says that he's the owner and Idiot was surprised. He then starts admiring this person, like any other person that "has" money so he can mooch off them. I butted in and asked him.....ummm are you sure you're the owner? He said yes.... This guy was full of s***..... but Idiot was all over his nuts. Idiot asks him tons of questions on how he had so much money at a young age, and stranger says dealing drugs. I just had to have a talk with Idiot and told him to not fall for his bullcrap, but he wouldn't have it..... he defended him and said.... "don't you see? drug dealers make tons of money.... I believe him..... " I reminded him that the REAL owner was our age and that he gave us a tour of the place a couple of weeks ago and he said, he's just the contractor!!!! .....so Stranger and Idiot go outside and Stranger offers Idiot crack inside the bar and outside. Idiot then asks him for bartending jobs at Infusion Lounge and Stranger shows him a piece of paper with names and says that he has enough bartenders... the list was dirty and ripped... I was 100% sure that those names were crack customers or suppliers.... then later, Stranger leaves.... As Ala...I mean Idiot enters the bar I asked him if the crack dealer left, he said yes.....then I told him.... "You know you let the 'millionaire owner of Infusion Lounge' leave without paying for his $50 bill..... by the way, your fired." BTW, Idiot brags all the time that he went to Berkeley....
