by Stacy S. on I love this place. I would change the fact that the free list takes longer than the pay at the door list. That sucks. The drinks are a little on the high side, but you're going to get them anyways. They also don't frisk at the door, so you can bring your own in! :)
by Mardell Busic on All 3 of my stars go to the Sunday night act, The Spazmatics... I haven't seen them in about a year, and when i went there tonight, I was not disappointed. They are a great 80's cover band, and put on an extremely energetic show. It is for sure worth seeing if you like 80's music. When we went, Joey Fatone from N'Sync was randomly there and sung "Jessie's Girl"... That was actually somewhat entertaining. As far as the venue, the $10 cover didn't bother me, and the dirty bathroom didn't bother me either... its Hollywood... But the bar left much to be desired. Spending $9 for a Coke and Jack (there's a reason Coke came first, and that's due to the complete lack of Jack in my drink) was a little excessive, and after getting 5 drinks at the bar, I should have been slightly stupid leaving the place, but in reality, I could have driven a bus full of nuns home safely. Note: Get hammered in your car beforehand. So all you need to know is, the Spazmatics are awesome, and totally entertaining (as was the random guy dancing with earplugs in), but get all your drinking in beforehand, because the only thing stiff they serve at the bar is your tab.
