I'm going to be a little critical of this place! Because they have the skill, talent and experience to do better. That being said, I like this restaurant and will definitely be a frequent visitor! Love the location, the look, the style, the open kitchen, the decor and of course the bar. The service needs a lot of work, timing, menu knowledge and how to use proper Annunciation with a group of 5 ppl for a birthday on Thursday night! The meat and cheese was fantastic. The Asparagus was terrible but the tomatoes were great! The olives were good but the presentation was bad! The squid was flavorless and was not what you would expect. The Linguine with Clams was a disappointment. The Pork Pappardelle was really good! The Strip Steak really was the best thing on the menu and done perfectly. Loved it! OH and the Pizza was fantastic as well. In summary better train the service staff and pay attention the the little details of each dish that comes out of the kitchen.

I made my first visit to the aquarium (finally), and while it's not something I would want to do all the time, especially at over $30 per person, I had a fantastic time. I was quite impressed with the space when I first walked inside; I didn't realize how huge it was. Before checking out much of the aquarium, we headed over to the Titanic Exhibit, which is here for a few months. I recommend it, they did a good job and it was quite cool seeing all of the recovered clothes, dishes, and even money from the ocean floor. As far as the aquarium exhibits go, they break it up into a Georgia, River, tropical, ocean, and a cold water exhibit. The ocean exhibit is the largest and most impressive; viewing the whale sharks as they swim over you in the viewing tunnel is a unique experience. The beluga whales in the cold water exhibit were awesome and they were playing it up to the crowd quite nicely - it's very funny seeing them respond to people like that. There is plenty to see and they have done an impressive job, and I'm proud that Atlanta is home to the largest aquarium in the world. Definitely worth the visit.

Went here on a Saturday night and was treated to one of the best dj's i've heard in a long time. The main ballroom was completely empty and closed off (which is a shame since its really a cool space. In fact, Beck played a surprise show in the ballroom that I unfortunately missed). The upstairs was apparently closed off, due to a private SNL after party (go figure). The back room was packed though, wall to wall with people, mostly sweaty due to the stagnat air and lack of room. However, it was totally worth it, and defintely a spot worth checking out, even if it is a little out of the way...
