by MeKa M. on I been here one night with a bunch of my girl friends. We had a blast!!! Great music..(live)..drinks...and even food!. Usually after dancing all night you're hungry but they have everything there! I tried the tacos and the quesadilla both very yummy!. I can't salsa dance, but I still had a great time. Nice setting, plenty of seating, and I think about three bar areas but a food area as well. The dance floor was big and didn't feel cramped at all. Great setting for groups of even just couples!! The mojito bar is a must try!!
by Jamison Szwed on Awful! Hotspot? More like Notspot! Went there for a friend's bday party who reserved a table. Got there at 11:25... the bouncer said "The place opens at 11:30" ok.. we stand around and ask if we can just sneak in... its freezing out! He turns his backs on us. =O Fine, we go next door for a drink and some warmth until friends get there. We go back at 12 ish... friends still not there yet. We ask to go in, but then the guy totally ignores us. Letting in everyone else- we are 2 Asian girls and the people who he let in were not Asian. (Oh- when I say let everyone else in.. I mean we were the only 2 people in line and everyone else did not even have to wait.... At all) No big deal... right? Its 2009..... Then more Asian friends come and the guy still ignores us and lets more people in besides us. Ok.. we'll wait.. Finally the one with the table arrives and talks to the "head honcho". Friend: we have a table Head honcho: how many? Friend: all of us here. Head honcho: (looks around....has this horror look on his face) "all of you guys?" Pause........ "fine... ID please." I thought.. ok this is just an exclusive place.. you don't want a bunch of hot asian girls in your place... fine... BUT then when I go in.. there were no good looking people and half of the people there were old.... Doesn't make sense... I wouldn't go if you pay me. I rather sit at home and watch CSI reruns.
