by Rosendo Vallario on Went here recently with a few friends of mine for a halloween costume party. We had a hookup to get in free but no one was dressed up outside... uh oh. But due to a little "pre partying" in the car beforehand, we were like ahhh fu%k it, who cares lets just go in!! haha. thankfully about 50% of the club was dressed up (i was dressed up as a swat team member, and my boy as a lapd cop). It was a nice layout. pretty good size dance floor. alot of bottle service areas (that you could sit at unless they were reserved). My only gripe about this place was that the drinks are expensive. But if you manage it wisely its not a huge issue. They played a mixture of house music and hip hop. It actually sounded kinda cool. Theres parking around the corner for $8 on vine and hollywood. Have fun
by Jay Ciraolo on Ridiculously crowded! The upstairs plays a decent mix of hip hop but attempting to steer clear of the coke heads is almost impossible. It's easy enough to get in if your a girl, the bouncers are pretty sweet. Drinks are average.......music is average.........crowd is average........you get the picture.
by Jessica P. on I have two words for all the lady Rateclubers looking for a fun lesbian dance night- Hot Pants! Every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month the Cat Club hosts a lesbian dance night with a little something for everyone- hip-hop/R&B in the back room, ridiculous eighties videos and movies screening on the walls, and 80s/Electro music up front. Its a great mix up for the schizophrenic dancer in us all. The trick is to get stamped and then head around the corner to Hole in the Wall to drink and pee, instead of waiting in long lines for mediocre, small drinks and two stinky toilets. I give it three stars is because of the drink and bathroom situation, and because the music is pretty hit or miss in the hip-hop room. It's $6, but if you wear hot pants they might let you in free...
