A friend and I split parmesan zucchini fries, jalapeno slaw, onion rings, the Korean BBQ burger and the burger of the day, which was a Turkey Club Burger (turkey patty, pork belly, much other awesomeness). Everything was great - the sauces were perfect and enhanced all the flavors of the meat and veggies. We also both had the Old Thymer cocktail - great for gin lovers. Word to the wise - the seasonal apple cocktail didn't have any tequila in it, but it sure tasted like it, much to the chagrin of my tequila-hating companion. Happily the waiter quickly swapped it for another at no charge. Cheers all around!
by Tuan Decrosta on A cool name is about all you'll get from Jake's Dilemma. Alot like Gin Mill two blocks uptown, Jake's Dilemma is a rowdy college bar area that's even more crowded than the Gin Mill. The bartenders are so swamped with customers that it's a pain in the butt to try to get a drink.
