This place is kind of weird. It's really a bar, but they also have a tiny menu of Ethiopian food. You basically have two choices, veggie or meat, and you eat it all with your hands, but I'm not sure how I like that seeing you're in not the cleanest dive bar. The owner and bar tender is off a bit too. I tried to order some food, but everything I ordered she made me feel like I was a total idiot for trying to order it - so finally after 20 mintes I caved in and just told her to make me whatever it was she wanted me to eat. I ended up with spicy Lamb with veggie stew and split peas. But the lamb wasn't lamb, it was steak. And the split pea wasn't split pea, it was lentils. Well whatever, I knew walking into this place it wasn't going to be the French Laundry or anything, and ti sadly lived up to my expectations. The drinks there were Ok and the prices weren't bad. We got out of there for 2 people with 2 drinks each for $40. Overall, I'd go there for a drink, or if I was desperate for food while drunk and stoned with mega munchies - otherwise I'll be at the pizza place a few doors down for a slice. Oh ya, they are still living like they are in Ethiopia as well, as it's cash only.

Um...why are the waitresses dressed in slutty outfits?? My coworkers and I were wondering about that, because Lucky Strike doesn't seem like a place that caters to male clientele - or maybe we were just there on a night that was full of teenagers and young professionals... In any case - aside from the weird waitress outfits, it's pretty similar to other Lucky Strike Lanes with the neon black lights and party music. My coworkers and I played two games, chilling out in between games. We decided that the hangout space was too narrow - they squish two lanes into what would've been one lane say in Boston. Aside from that, we had an enjoyable time. Although, I think we scared the people in our neighboring lane - who commented that we appear to be uber competitive. Consultants - competitive? NEVER.
