by Sang Sevillano on Asian Mecca - went last night for the first time and it was a line around the block and there were literally 4 non-asian people there, which is fine just surprising. The music was good and the space is huge. They pat your down and scan you like the airport to get in, if I had waited in line and had to be patted down it would have been a worse night. But we walked in so it was ok. fun place for a dance party.
by Marcellus Volante on one night i saw hella cute asian guys lined up. unfortunately it was str8 night. i came here when its a gay club sunday night. the music sucked. way too gay for me, like the web. its a bigger place. really happening too. its so crowded i had a hard time getting through. not fun when ure messed up.
by Gary L. on "WHAT'LL YA HAVE?" As I was greeted by the teenager cashier, the Varsity reminded me of a giant place to get fat. The menu screams chili this chili that, fries, fried onion rings, shakes, and a few healthier choice chicken sandwiches. But if you're looking to diet, you shouldn't even be checking this place out. Although the Varsity may be one of the original drive-ins, the burgers don't beat In n Out on the west coast. However, the Varsity is cheap as hell so it's a great place to go before heading out to Turner field but beware the grease. I dare the guy from "Supersize Me" to eat here every meal, he would have been dead in 48 hours, fosho!
