by Huong Albers on after waiting along time to go to trigger i finally stepped in..do i need a west hollywood upscale bar in the castro not really has lime changed any of that for us so far no...yes the space is bigger than jet but i found staff not friendly the alcoves to the right of club seedy dens with no lights i wouldnt go in here again without someone paying my way in..dont really need go go dancers in underwear to have fun sorry folks this is two thumbs down ..bluh!
by Lashaunda Cheam on the doormen here are total jerks for a place that is not that nice. my group got in fine since we had 3 girls and 2 guys. but my friend's two guys friends got turned away at the door although they got in the second time by saying they were there for a bday party. the inside of the bar is pretty nice... the upstairs is just a bar area with a few booths. i think there was a dance area downstairs, but i wouldn't know because the bouncers wouldn't let us down since there was a "private event" down there. but my friend who did manage to get down there said it was basically empty. despite all these 1-star aspects of the bar, it has one redeeming quality -- the ella cocktail. it's a mix of watermelon (and they scoop it out of a REAL watermelon!!!) and vodka, lots and lots of vodka. try it, you will not regret it. and at $12 a pop, i guess that compensates for the revenue they're losing by turning people away at the door.
