Let me start by saying that I don't particularly care for burgers. I mean, its not a big deal..just some meat stuffed in between bread. Well, this place changed my mind. Simply put, I can enjoy a burger and I don't care if its "fancy" or "trendy" or "uptown". Turns out that this place is just my speed and right up my alley. Thank you Richard Blaise for taking a classic Americana and elevating it. I know everyone and their brother is opening a burger joint in Atlanta right now, but give this guy the credit he deserves for being one of the first and doing it his own way. This place gets crazy packed on Friday and Saturday evenings and they don't take reservations so show up early. The good news is that they have a full bar and a great atmosphere, so waiting isn't a big deal. Now, lets get to the tasty part: I'm really sad they took the foie gras burger off the menu. BRING IT BACK! I'll order that $30+ goodness and I don't care who hears it or scoffs. That thing brough me to my knees. Wagu beef and foie gras on one lovely bun. My French ass was super excited. Please bring back this bad boy? Please??? -The farm burger is one of my favorites. Hits the spot. -The Gyro burger is excellent. Lamb. Enough said. -The fried pickles and vodka battered onion rings are mouthwatering. -Don't miss the beet ans goat cheese salad. Dessert: -The shakes are pretty exciting. The nutella and Krispy Kreme ones are out of this world. I need to order the foie gras one ASAP. I'm just scared I'll develop another terrible habit or even worse..stretch marks. Overall, love this place. I'm looking forward to coming back and also trying out the new Buckhead location on Roswell road.

when the place isn't closed from flash floods, its a great place to sweat it out. the underground spot has a lively crowd and amazing music. my favorite night has to be F*CK YESS, held the first thursday of each month. Watch out for Oh Snap! Kid taking candid shots and DJ Le CastleVania on the 1's and 2's.

i really love Middlesex. On weeknights it's quieter and a good spot to hang out and catch up with friends, weekends are crowded but not in a "someone just spilled their malibu and coke all over me" kind of way. i have had some great nights shaking my ass here and have even been asked if i was a trained ballerina. i am not. last summer i threw a surprise party for my roomate here. it's actually a good place for that when it is not crowded!
