by Trinidad Schock on I've always been a big fan of Vertigo. I went so far as to say it was my favorite bar on Polk. They have awesome drink specials. Just make sure you catch the bartender in a good mood. I mean, I know you're tired, but sometimes a girl just wants to sip on a mojito or two! Me: Can I have a mango mojito? Bartender: No. Me: Hrm, can I have a regular mojito? Bartender: Honey, no. No more mojitos, mmkay? Me: OK, fine, can I just have a mango margarita? Bartender: *pondering* yes, that works. Good thing the mango margarita hit the spot.
