by Jocelyn H. on So I came here the week after opening day and it was okay. Kind of empty, people were your typical Asian club goers. 2nd time I came here.. wow. It was HORRIBLE. We ordered table service which consisted of a few bottles and once we got there, they said they ran out.. Uh.. ok? Wtheck? Whatever. We started getting drinks at the bar. A mixed drink is 16$ and a shot of goose was 22. THAT IS RIDICULOUS. This isn't Vegas. This is downtown LA. Somehow, one of the workers got us a table at 12am. It was obviously preoccupied before as you could see spilled drinks all over the floor and couches. Gross. But thats not the best. When we got our bottles of goose... it was not goose. I drink goose a lot, goose chilled is my drink of choice so I know what my goose tastes like. This... this tasted like Svedka or some generic vodka brand from the store. I almost spit it out back. I was going to say something but my friends just told me to forget it. Fast forward the night, we ended up paying the entire bill for the entire night (9-close, although we didn't get it til 12am) and drank bootleg goose. I will never be coming back here again, ever. Oh one more thing to add, the bathrooms and outside smoking area is disgusting and a bit creepy.
by Brianna Depaul on After readin some reviews on here, i was nervous and apprehensive as to what to expect from the aquarium. nevertheless, I was still awestruck by some of the exhibits. there is something so peaceful and magical about an enormous tank full of fish/mammals you most likely will never see in your life... whats not so peaceful is the amount of people in this place. if you are easy going and can ignore the crowds, screaming spawns, you will enjoy the place. couple things that def put a damper on the visit- - penguins- wow the exhibit, if u want to call a box an exhibit, was just downright cruel and painful to even glance at. -beluga whales out of commission for no given reason.... . ... I can make the best out of any situation and def could stare at the whale shark tank and tropical fish tank for hours, preferably with earplugs in.
